Using This Site

These Terms of Use apply to makeadifference.life, run by M.A.D. Make A Difference ("M.A.D.", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Nonprofit Status

M.A.D. is in the process of forming as a New Jersey nonprofit. Tax-exempt status has not been granted. Until it is, donations are not tax deductible, and nothing on this site should be read as saying they are.

Donations

Donations are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms. Every donation goes to the M.A.D. Recovery Fund, not to a specific person. M.A.D. decides how the fund is used, consistent with the mission and criteria published on this site.

Donations are generally final. If you made a donation by mistake, such as a wrong amount, email theteam@makeadifference.life within 30 days and we will review your request.

Nominations And Sign-Ups

Submitting a nomination does not guarantee selection or support. M.A.D. makes all selection decisions in its own judgment, using the published criteria.

• Information you submit must be true and complete to the best of your knowledge.
• If you nominate someone else, you confirm they know about it and agree to share their information.
• We may decline or remove a nomination or sign-up that is false, incomplete, or submitted without consent.

Not Medical Advice

Descriptions of medical conditions on this site are general information, not medical advice. M.A.D. is not a healthcare provider. Talk with a qualified professional about any health decision.

Our Content

The M.A.D. name, logo, text, photos, and video on this site belong to M.A.D. or are used with permission. You may share links to our pages. Please do not copy or reuse our content or logo without written permission.

Stories And Photos

We share a recipient's name, photo, or story only with their written permission, and we remove it if they withdraw that permission.

Links To Other Sites

Some links, such as our donation page, go to sites run by others. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Acceptable Use

Do not use this site to submit spam, false information, or harmful code, or to try to access data that is not yours.

Limits Of Liability

The site is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, M.A.D. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, and we do not promise the site will always be available or error free.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
